Your use of patterns, shading and colour are great, giving this illustration a fascinating aspect. Hope that I am guessing right - tomatoes and pineapples?

Whatever - I love it!

Cheers

Apples, oranges and pineapples drawn in hot colours. The photograph is poor; image is too large to scan. Will try to photograph detail during the week. Drawn to adorn a sinful kitchen.

I am worried Kerry that you are disappearing after being boxed. Now you are saying your Canadian walls will be bare for a couple of years? Hope your soul is being nourished with music like at http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=TheGreatCanadianHo

There is also a peach somewhere there.

Hope you feel nourished Tony.

Nothing like red to stir a craving for nourishment Miss Daze. Now was that details about the sinful kitchen, or the fruit of sin (apple) you are asking nicely for? Just stalling.

don't you worry luv, i'm not physically going anywhere, although i may wish i was shortly! i live in a co-op that was leaky on the outside and the inside...we've just been replumbed, and now we're going to be re-cladded. so i'll be living in a construction nightmare for the next two years. i had to pack all my stuff up, cuz everything needs to be three feet from exterior walls. living in a wee apartment, picture an island of boxes in my living/dining room, with nothing else. that's how i'll be living for the next while. thank god i'd just spent a mint on art supplies, i'll need something to soothe my nerves during this!
cheers,
kerry

Really great use of vibrant colour, and juxtaposition of the fruits' texture.

I'm very glad you are OK Kerry - well sort of OK. Just as well you have a stash of nourishment to see you through. Your unit sounds a bit like my studio at the moment, have had an interior waterfall for about a week. Hope those boxes have a good tarp around them and all artwork has been packed to avoid mould.

Thanks Chacha, you can join Kerry as my art groupie. Casual dress only - no cheerleaders. I am looking forward to seeing your sisters soon to be triptych painting.

Steve, stop pretending - you know I am hot.

Thankyou Detlef for your compliments, means a lot from an Aussie Master.

I was going to say pomegranate too until I read the exchange. I was a little confused by the colors, but this is good, I guess. More thought provoking.

They say the colour red wets one's appetite Mary Stebbins Taitt! That's why they use it a lot in advertising ... :)
