There are multiple colours in everything when seen with light Katili :) The painting was made as a prediction of a tsunami which explains its verosity!

Thanks Kim Carney! The original is more a vortex without the fracturing. A 3D painting using gel medium to thicken the paint. The original's lure is more the texture and center vortex which don't translate well digital.

No lighthouse Johnnynorms! It would be swallowed :) Thank you!

The rearranging, fracturing part is the manipulation; choosing the most interesting 'bits' Tiffy. Thanks for looking at the others!

this is an oil painting? nice style, seems more like acrylic to me it s crazy! first i love the colors, the turquoise and blue are technically complementry to the browns (which is constidered a dark orange) this is why the blue hues are so vibrant. nice lights and darks, excellent movment, good pattern incorperation (i aussume this is from the computer manipulation), nice depth and tecture from the super white highlights and the super dark shadows all in all well done

i get a little lost in the center at first it pulls me in but when i rip myself away to look at the rest it's all magic

Thanks Cream! Summer illustrations are popular when you live on the beaches, so have plenty of them :)

Hhheheeeee, you're the third lucky visitor to avoid hitting their head on the rocks Chacha ... very glad the sea is kind to you also :)

Thank you Gide! Pleased you find my 'sea' beautiful and thanks for the compliment - I find the sea exciting and yell into its power :)

Began with acrylic paint to 'map' painting and then built it with other paints from there. Forgot this one has tile concrete to build 3D effect plus bitumen. Many layers of thick spatular applications of oil paint with gel medium to finish off. The 'shifting' pattern is the computer manipulation TedTopMedusa :) Another survivor - thanks for your comment!

Wow, this is really vibrant and kind of scary! What it most reminds me of is The Blowhole (down the Shipwreck Coast, near The Apostles). There's a fantastic elemental spiral of energy to this jigsaw-like picture that captures the feeling of looking in there.

I really like how you've used small round shapes to contrast against the linear flow of the water - excellent!

Was gone for a week, and know you have missed me.
Something in the comments caught my attention – were you talking about the collapsed natural bridge that left two people stranded, two people that had no business being stranded together atop natural rock formation not too far from shore but without means of getting out of there? He-he-he…
If you happen to live in that part, that close to the gorgeous sea, no wonder this painting ended up being so beautiful. I am green with Envy. E is for ENVY!!!
