Wow so this is what you really look like? Thanks!

Despite all the gruesomeness I still think you are a cuddly family.

I noticed at The Unknown's that you said your power animal was a Crow.

Have I told you about the Crow and me....

well stop me if you've heard this before....

Once I went on a course for shamanic practitioners, thinking that such a course would tend to attract people who were at least a little bit as strange as me....

One weekend we were talking (oh there was so much too much talking!) about what to do next... so when it was my turn to talk, for some reason I showed everyone how I'd seen a crow playing with some rubbish the evening before... I did quite a good imitation of it.

Then we stopped for tea (so you see it is relevant ;-)

During the break someone gave someone else a new pack of animal cards. The receiver opened them up but before she could look at them, in rather a playful crow mood, and pulled a card. Of course the card that came up was Crow. (It wasn't a set I'd ever played with so I didn't know there would be a crow in there... )

I was pleased.

The others were scared.... or annoyed or something...

It showed me that there are plenty of people who think they'd like to play with magic but who aren't really ready for it when it happens...

... maybe I have told you this before... sorry but you really ought to have stopped me!

Your works, I must say are quite unique of all. Maybe that's my own point of view.

The weird thing here is that I somehow think this piece looks kind of scary to me.

But, I like the concept and mixed media used. You used it very well! =D

Anonymous, these are insanely, fantastically classic! Your portrait of this monster family is perfect too - how'd you manage to sneak up and get such a candid shot without scaring the buglife away?

And yes, they're always extremely marketable, but as a one-off they're a fevered, brilliant artwork!

I'm sorry you're going off for a bit, but if it means you're devoting more time to creating art, then that's undoubtedly the right decision.
