Interesting how a digitally manipulated photo can look traditional, cosy and decidedly analog! Lovely. Hope those six white boomers brought you something delightful. Joyeux Noel.

Happy Holidays!
I would have called, but guess what -- everyone else had the same bright idea, so what I got was -- “ All the circuits in the country you are calling are currently busy”… I tried.
If you decide you need more cheer, orthodox Christmas in not till the 7th of January! Party till it hurts!
Love the illo -- nostalgic almost. Almost! Best of wishes to you and yours! Lily.

Today is Boxing Day. The holiday developed because servants were required to work on Christmas Day, but took the following day off. As servants prepared to leave to visit their families, employers would present them with gift boxes.
WHERE'S MINE ... just because I'm not going anywhere ... it isn't fair!

On Boxing Day, for past 59 years, the premier event on the Australian yacht racing calendar from Sydney to Hobart blue water yacht race has been held. They are OFF!!!!!

Aha! All is explained – and thank you. For some of us Boxing Day is a Mystery never previously solved. I can stop puzzling now, since the head still hurts after all the Holiday champagne consumption… And do stop by to see an actual picture that is NOT connected to the poem. Lily.

Thank you Crosshatched, M.B, David, Lily & Lucy White and everyone above! Excuse Hellcat, she thought she was anonymous for a couple of days :)

Advertising in Australia lies about Boxing Day Sale shopping and it starts today - Tuesday instead. This is to ensure everyone has recovered from hangovers and lack of sleep. Today I will be heading for the stores to box people :)

To Whom This Might Concern:
My son, the Big Shot Artiste, called me - COLLECT! mind you - from Australia. He claims to be held captive (I'm certain that term is applied loosely) by a woman with an evil kitty, drink, food, that "certain" (if you know what I mean) party atmosphere and a hot tub. I dismissed his story as another cheap excuse NOT to visit his poor old mum on the holiday - however, the image of a thong, floating in a billabong, on these picture cell phones is quite convincing! I also use the term "thong" loosely as it more resembles a knotted mess of string! Anyway, will you please send him HOME! There's been too much snow and his father insists he get right out here to shovel snow off the roof of our trailer!

Hi Patty! Thank you for the compliments and will try my best regarding health and bountiful art. Cheers :)

Thanks Gudbrandsdottir! This blog started as recording work when cleaning Studio to move. I don't have a specific site with paintings - yet. Happy Holidays!!!

Dear Mick's Mum,
Your Son is tied up at the moment and sure shovelling snow from trailer roof won't be necessary by the time he has completed sight seeing Tasmania. Mick promises he's practising ‘melting skills’ on the Mainland's Beaches for liquefying frigidity problems in New York 2006.
From whom it concerned.

Hello Steve! The card on the far left is from Parliament House! My favourite is the large one in the centre made by Cheruboy :) Merry Christmas to you - here's a tissue :)

Late announcement: Have new Christmas Card which has officially won first place under the mantle and Cheruboy agrees! Today received card plus other goodies from Anthony Woodward of A.W Comix. Thanks Anthony!!!!

Normal is a relative term...it can mean whatever you want it to mean. In the context that I was using it; "I must say I don't quite know how to deal with such a sweet, traditional image from the likes of you, but I suppose you have the right to be normal just this once", I meant that you don't seem to be eating anything that's still alive, nor is there any hint of demonic posession or other evil goings-on. But then again, we don't know what horror lurks inside those wrapped gifts under the tree, now, do we? Mwahahaha!
Hope you and yours have a very Happy New Year!

Thanks Alina Chau, Happy Holidays to you too!

Rick: is it normal I didn’t mention the eating part in Mick’s letter to his Mum? In regards to evil goings-on … the right corner statue seems to be looming over the midget Jesus and Mary holding Jesus’s step little Brother or Sister. Demonic procession can pop ***
