A bunch of doors in darkened rooms, with light shining in from the hallways, in some sort of demented Escher space. Reminds me of my brain. Cool job.

Quite aware you drool Mick! Glad you are typing right now and not trying to speak – very unattractive :) Thanks!

You got the interpretation right Tony LaRocca! Hmmmm Steve Martin as the philosopher is a scary thing …

You are right Andrea! It does look like Klee – do you see a hieroglyph existing in emblematic space?

Welcome Rottentuna.com ... phew WHAT is that smell? Think you should love remote as much as possible :) Hheheheee

beautiful collage. i love the texture and color combination. i can see some action taking place during night time.

i don't why i always see images in your artworks esp. with the abstract ones. in here i can see a person on the left almost center with the red color like it was red armhole(was wearing a red shirt)and was connected with the beige and what seems to be blonde is the head. seems like the person is reaching out for something---ahhh what an imagination!

This has a real Rosalie Gascoigne feel to it, it looks like bits and pieces of wooden/timber offcuts (I know it's not). It would look good against a masonry wall.

Your piece has a wonderfully calmining effect, Anon. I would not feel at all creeped out walking through its night-time corridors... they are embued with warmth and a sense of well being. Beautiful. And thanks for posting on my blog.

This feels like a maze. Not so much the maze itself but the feeling one might have after getting lost in one and not being able to find the right way out.

The tease is that repeated light arch.

Wow, my eye wants to travel into all those nooks. This vision of night though complex is made less intimidating by the wonderfully rich color and surprising softness and well lit corners. Grand!

Thank you Leif, you are welcome to crash in one of our corridors anytime - and you are right, they is nothing to be afraid of here; except maybe tripping over things on the way to the bathroom :)

I really like this way of seeing Caroline! The repeated light arch must be the bathroom...

It is a full house, just as well only a few objects were repeated in the many corners A! Thanks for your wonderful real estate description!

Exactly AtomicVelvetSigh - thank you!!

Like bieng in a quarry, or a cbist city...the colors are very mineral-like, and I'm sure you've hidden some secrets that I can't find...however, the pure visual experience is excellent! Your abstract work is always so compelling.

One of those ghosts has his nose in a book. I've thought about this since I peeked in earlier. What I like best about this piece is that it could be a walkway. It has the feeling of tiles, solid and permanent. Yeah, a walk way, but no running, you could bump your knee on a table. Very interesting.

I really enjoy the different interpretations - especially the 'not so obvious' ones!

Carla - you must have shale quarries where you come from? I would love to see a Cubist city :)

Can see the nosey ghost LDahl! Can also see a walkway now you mention it ... yes, like a furnished underground walkway at the cental train station! Furniture would be really handy to take a rest :)

You are right Jody! From ashtray to wall art - if the wall was in a train walkway, it could act as both :)

This reminds me of something that would be hanging in one of the rooms of the old Rod Serling TV show "Night Gallery". There just seems to be something a little bit sinister about this. Though I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it's all the odd angles I can't put in order. Maybe I'm a little sinister. Hmm...

Aieee, I see the nightmare faces of robotic bureaucrats or an Escher labyrinth, or Bracks' grey men marching along Collins Street at 5 O'Clock. Actually, with all the pieces cut out separately, it'd make a good puzzle too :).

Excellent dispersal of colour across the area of the picture!

Oh no, can also now see robotic bureaucrats Ian T! Can also see Brack's grey men! Choosing to see an Escher labyrinth so I can sleep at night - slightly better anyway :)

I won’t call you Bessie, and you are right ... daytime involves a Bearman, Manboy and Cheruboy running in, out and around my work hours. It's aMAZ(E)ing now calm night is in comparison :)
